Fall is right around the corner.  Yeah!!  I am definitely a fall girl.  Maybe because I was born in the fall, I don’t know.  But I always looks forward to fall.  With the first cooler day in August, I pull out my favorite jeans and my long sleeve shirt and get ready for a fresh start.

Re-Group and Re-Organize

I always tend to use fall as a time to re-group and re-organize.  Even though I don’t have any kids starting back to school, I seem to find myself craving a more set schedule, especially during fall.  This is a time for me to rethink my routines, my organizing plans, and anything else I am struggling with.

 But Keep Things Familiar

This fall things around my house have been turned upside down due to a family health crisis.  Add to that the chaos of coronavirus and all the uncertainty that brings with it, and well you can imagine what my house looks like.  So, I need to try and keep my routines as familiar as possible.  And in doing that I have found that if I can get up and start my morning right, the rest of my day goes a little easier.  For me that means a cup of coffee and my daily devotion before I start my work day.  If you start your day with some quiet time to think and plan, you might just find that you won’t wake up feeling like you are already behind.

This fall, take some time to review your daily routines.  See what is working and what could use a little refreshing.  And if you can do it in your favorite jeans and long sleeve t-shirt, even better.

Is There Any Truth Left on Social Media?

I have seen a couple of commercials lately that seem to be encouraging us to lie.  Now they are not coming out and saying that, but what they are saying is that no one needs to know the truth.  Let me just say, I think we need more of the truth, especially on social...

No One Has it All Together

I was struck by a great thought today that I think we all need to hear.  No one is perfect and no one has it all together.  Did you get that?  Take a minute and let that sink in, don't worry I will wait.  Let me say it one more time.  No one has it all together all...

Your Desk Does Not Have to be Your Lunch Table

Recently I have been seeing this commercial a lot.  It starts out innocent enough, talking about eating a clean salad with fresh dressing.  But here is where I start to pay attention.  The commercial says have this wonderful salad delivered right to your desk and eat...
