Welcome to the first official post of The Working Crafter.  So now that you have read the first sentence, what can you expect from the rest?  Well, I hope this is a place you will come to find balance.

Let’s face it, if you are anything like me, your life can feel like a see-saw.  Some days you are up in the air getting things done and making things happen.  And then come those dreaded days when no matter what you planned to do nothing gets done.  First take a deep breath and realize you are not alone.

Next, I hope you will use the tips here to help restore a sense of calm and balance to your life.  In this blog, I will post on home life, work life, and hobbies, and how to blend each area to create a happier you.  There will be tips for organizing the home chaos around you, ways to stay focused on work when all you want to do is play, and time savers to give you time to spend on your hobbies and maybe even earn some extra money too.

I have been struggling for a while to work a full-time job, open an Etsy shop (and now start a blog), and keep my house from crashing in around me.  I have learned a lot from this experience and I want to share it with others who may be feeling unbalanced.  Will all of the things help you, probably not.  Will you be able to take some things away that can make your life simpler?  I think so.

So as I start this journey, I want to thank you for reading this far and I encourage you to sign up for emails, check out the blog, and see where it takes you.  Hopefully, it will lead you to a less chaotic life where your work life and home life live harmoniously instead of playing tug of war with your sanity.
